Cara Menginstall DEBIAN SERVER

ALAT DAN BAHAN :

•  1 Unit komputer server

•  1 buah CD OS Tekaje.deb (CD Remaster debian 6.03)

LANGKAH KERJA:

1. Nyalahkan komputer server
2. Atur Boot Order pada BIOS menjadi CD/DVD sebagai media booting perrtama (first boot)
3. Masukkan CD Debian OS
4. Setelah booting dari CD/DVD pilih “Command Line Interface” kemudian ENTER
5. [Select Languange], pilih “English – English” kemudian tekan ENTER
6. [Select your Location], pilih “Other”, kemudian tekan ENTER
7. [Select your Location], pilih “Asia”, ENTER
8. [Select your Location], pilih “Indonesia”, ENTER
9. [Select a keyboard layout], pilih “American English” kemudian tekan ENTER. Tunggu proses        loading file selesai
10. [Configure the network], tunggu hingga muncul tulisan “network autoconfiguration failed” dan tekan CANCEL
11. [Configure the network], Pilih “Configure the network manually”. Tekan ENTER
12. [Configure the network], IP Address : 202.100.4.65 > ENTER
13. [Configure the network], Netmask : 255.255.255.224 > ENTER
14. [Configure the network], Gateway : 202.100.4.65 > ENTER
15. [Configure the network], Name Server Address : 202.100.4.65 > ENTER
16. [Configure the network], Hostname : tkj > ENTER
17. [Configure the network], Name Server Address : 202.100.4.65 > ENTER
18. [Configure the network], Domain Name : mutiarailmu.sch.id > ENTER
(INGAT : penulisan domain menggunakan huruf kecil tanpa spasi)
19. [Set up users and password], root password isi dengan “admin” > ENTER
20. [Set up users and password], re-enter password to ver ify isi dengan “admin” > ENTER
21. [Set up users and password], full name for new user isi dengan “Nama Anda”. Tekan ENTER
22. [Set up users and password], username for your account isi dengan “Nama Anda”. Tekan ENTER
23. [Set up users and password], Chooese a password for new user isi dengan “Password Anda”. Tekan ENTER
24. [Set up users and password], re-enter password to verify isi kembali “Password Anda”. ENTER
25. [Configure the clock], pilih “Makassar” kemudian tekan ENTER. Tunggu proses …
26. [Partition Disk], pilih “Guided – use entire disk” kemudian tekan ENTER
27. [Partition Disk], Select Disk to partition tekan ENTER saja
28. [Partition Disk], Partition Scheme, pilih “All files in one partition (recommend for new users)” kemudian tekan ENTER
29. [Partition Disk], pilih “Finish partitioning and write change to disk “ kemudian tekan ENTER
30. [Partition Disk], write to change to disk ?, pilih “YES” kemudian tekan ENTER. Tunggu proses format hardisk dan pembuatan file system selesai.
31. [Configure the package manager], Scan another CD/DVD pilih “NO” kemudian tekan ENTER
32. [Configure the package manager], Use a network mirror pilih “NO” kemudian tekan ENTER
33. [Configuring popularity-contest], Participate in package usage survey pilih “NO” kemudian tekan ENTER. Tunggu hingga proses pemilihan install software di tampilkan.
34. [Software selection], pilih hanya “Standars system utilities” kemudian tekan ENTER. Tunggu hingga instalasi paket software selesau
(untuk memilih dan menghapus symbol arterisk (*) gunakan tombol spasi)
35. [Configuring grub-PC], Install the GRUB boot loader to master boot record ? pilih “YES” kemudian tekan ENTER
36. [Finish the installation], pilih “Continue” kemudian tekan ENTER, tunggu proses restart …
(gunakan tombol tab untuk berpindah ke tombol continue)
37. Setelah komputer reboot/restart, silahkan login sesuai dengan akun dan password yang telah dibuat saat proses instalasi.
tkj login : <<isi nama user yang telah dibuat pada saat instalasi>>
Password : <<isikan password>>
38. Setelah berhasil login ketikan perintah berikut
Namanda@tkj : $ su
Password : <<masukkan password root yaitu “admin” tanpa anda petik>>
39. Pada Command line ketikkan perintah berikut :
root@tkj : # ifconfig –a [untuk mengecek interface/IP Address yang terpasang]
root@tkj : # cat /etc/hostname [menampilkan output dari file konfigurasi]
