Gugun Blues Shelter
Gugun Blues Shelter re-enliven the Indonesian music arena with the launch of the seventh album titled SOUL SHAKER. In the album, to all of their songs are in English. Gugun fronted band (guitar / vocals), John (bass) and Bowie (drums) said it agreed to use English in the latest album.
If listened to, material GBS album is more varied this time with a lot of genres that mated blues rhythms. GBS did show characteristic to get out of the path of Indonesian mainstream music.
The ten songs such as Love Your Life, Born To Be Awesome, Fire Underwater, Driving Home Alone, Captain Morgan, Funk, Acid Rain, The Good Old Days, Slaves To The Nation and Rock and Roll Superstar, Gugun said is different from previous albums. However, the blues remain the color you'll enjoy them.
